Someone, Someday
The old lady stood by the roadside,
Waiting for someone to be her guide.
To cross the busy road was her aim,
But that was not an easy game.
All passed by, none paid her heed,
She thought she did some bad deed.
The school got over and the boys rushed,
The thought to help her was still hushed.
A little boy came up to the old lady,
He held her hand and led her the way.
His brother saw and bent down to say.
“Why did you lead the way brother?”
The boy looked up and replied,
“Because someone someday would also lead my mother”.
